Compensation Package
Help Wanted: Professional Electrician | Full-Time
$20 - $25/Hour + $500 Sign on Bonus
We’re looking for a qualified electrician to join the Hampton Electrical Team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing common electrical issues, as well as installing and replacing electrical wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, and terminals in residential and commercial properties.
Minimum 5-Years Electrical Experience Required.
Qualified Candidates will:
- Have a valid driver’s license (Must sign H.E.S. driving policy.)
- Have dependable transportation to and from job.
- Be non-smoking
- Must be able to layout a new house per code for rough-in inspection.
- Must be able to install/replace baseboard heater, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, hood fans, panel breakers, remove and increase switch boxes, fish wire behind walls, wire A.C. units, furnaces, stove & dryer cords, GFCI receptacles.
- Must be able to troubleshoot residential electrical faults/problems/repairs.
- Must have boots, standard electrician pouch and tools and working meter. Safety glasses and gloves will be issued.
- Must be physically able to lift 75 pounds, work in attics, dig trenches, work outside in hot/cold temperatures.
- Must have a working knowledge of residential area 2021 NEC codebook.
- Must be willing to work in all environments of residential, commercial and industrial electrical sites.
- Must be able to use standard electrical tool, sawzall, drills, knock-out cutter, hole saws, hammer, drills, rental equipment, lifts, trenchers, meters, ladders, fish tape and wire carts.
- Be able to consistently work 40 hours per week
- Experience:
- At least 5 years in the trade.
- Must be capable of changing out 200 amp residential panel.
- Must be able to wire 3 way – 4 way lighting circuits.
- Must be able to work off 30’ extension ladders.
- Must be experienced with MC cable.
- Must be experienced with EMT conduit.
- Must be able to interact with clients in a professional manner.

Compensation Package
- Upon start date, employee will receive 2 weeks of paid vacation and paid holidays.
- After 1 year anniversary with H.E.S., employee will receive a $2.00/hour raise.

We’re looking for a qualified electrician’s helper to assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing common electrical issues, as well as install and replace electrical wiring, panels, outlets, lighting, and terminals in residential and commercial properties.
No electrical experience needed.
Qualified Candidates will:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have dependable transportation
- Be non-smoking
- Be neatly dressed
- Be able to consistently work 40 hours per week
- Be mechanically inclined
- Be willing to work off ladders at various heights
- Have a positive attitude & be willing to learn
